You are going to cause traffic, and she's most likely going to be most embarrassed. Though movies would have you believe that proposing in a public place is romantic, most women would still like to keep such things private.

Third, prepare your engagement ring. Your engagement ring need not have the biggest, clearest and most flawless gem, but it sure has to be quality, too. The important thing is that the ring is beautiful, it suits her personality and her taste in jewelry, and that it fits her ring finger.

Finally, after everything has been set up, bide your time and wait for the right moment. Never let on for one moment that you are going to propose. Surprise will give it more meaning for her.
